We need to think about these things and organize them. We all need to have roles, and particular things we do for the alliance.
If you need luxury goods, contact one of the others that have those. Once we start colonizing together resources should be plenty. If pooling doesn't work that well because of shortages, we'll organize some cheap trade.

I expect to be ready to colonize this time tomorrow. 
Maybe it is a good idea to start colonizing as soon as possible, because the goods can benefit more people.

How do I defend my town ? I had 15 units while bein attacked by 10 battle report says 0 units were defending while my 15 units just sat in my town doing nothing is there a option or sumthing I need to tick to put them in guard mode?
I've sent a spy to Hells Gate, not much there. No tradeport, no shipyard. How many units did he attack you with? It's too far from me to attack him though, the upkeep is through the roof because it will take a day just to get there. Anyone closer that can lend Ryan a hand?

I have been attacked twice by the town Unlucky (previously Istanbull) on 44:90 in response to me blocking his port (and looting his trade). First time he killed more than half my army, second time he managed to pillage.
I will continue to block his port. Would be nice if someone else could send out a land attack.

Hmm. I just kicked Gaunty's ass in a sea battle. It seems that you cannot assist in a blockade if you are not in the alliance, because you will attack others there.

Mentioned this game to an Eve-playing coworker and now most people in the office registered. If they all keep at it for a week or two I might make a new alliance so I don't hog Eve-alliance spots. In that case I'll post here for blue standings...

I have now started a new alliance for me and some real life friends, some of which play Eve. The alliance is called MailOrderBrides [MOB] and is invite only though. We are basically a pirate alliance, hostile to any non-Eve related alliances.
So far we've had a small skirmish with True Valor Command (TVC - 92th on the alliance ranking) and they basically offered us goods to stop attacking. *hint hint*
Anyway, for treaties and trade, contact me or my diplomat.
